Attorney Bean joined the firm in 2019 as Of Counsel after spending 29 years at Xerox Corporation. Initially as an engineer at Xerox’s Webster Research Center and since 1993 as a patent attorney. At Xerox Corporation he became a subject matter expert in Intellectual Property law and he provided proactive counseling to Xerox’ Research Centers stakeholders to resolve a variety of intellectual property and general legal related issues. His practice experience included drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, preparing and prosecuting patent applications in various technologies, litigation, freedom-to-operate, opinions, competitive analysis, patent strategy, brand protection and brand counseling.
