TOPIC: Monster Energy Co. v. Cavaliers Hockey Holdings, LLC. Earlier this year, our home ice hockey team, the Cleveland Monsters, successfully defeated the last of the trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings brought against it by energy drink maker, Monster Energy Co., before the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Tom Williams and Meg Murray will share with us some of their insights and experiences from the Monsters’ nearly three-year long battle to victory, which included a full trial on the merits.
