Please join us on Thursday, October 24th for the first CIPLA meeting of the 2024-25 season, and our first ever joint meeting with The Kathleen M. O'Malley American Inn of Court! Register by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Parking:
Valet parking is available for $15 at the North Side of the building where the II Venetian/St. Clair Ballroom entrance is located, and the elevators up to the ballroom are right in front as you enter. Valet parking is also available in front of the Marriott hotel, connected to Key Tower. Self parking at the Memorial Plaza Garage, 55 Public Square Garage, and street parking.

Have fun, learn a few things, and earn CLE credit at the same time! The trivia contest will cover a range of IP topics, including patent, trademark, and copyright. The contest will be run by members of The Kathleen M. O'Malley American Inn of Court.

Topic: Unique Issues for Antitrust Expert Witnesses
Presenter: Judge Kathleen O'Malley (Ret.), Of Counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP (Visiting from Washington, D.C.)
Judge O’Malley was a federal judge for more than 27 years, beginning at the Northern District of Ohio in Cleveland, and most recently serving on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also previously served as first assistant and chief of staff to the Ohio Attorney General.
The Kathleen M. O’Malley American Inn of Court was chartered in 2021 as a tribute to Judge O’Malley’s service. She has received accolades including the Sedona Conference “Lifetime Achievement Award,” the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association Jefferson Medal, the New York Intellectual Property Law Association “Outstanding Public Service Award,” the Intellectual Property Owners Association “Distinguished IP Professional Award” and the Eagle Forum Phyllis Schlafly “IP Champion Award.” She was also inducted into the IAM IP Hall of Fame by Intellectual Asset Management and was named a lifetime honorary member of the Association of Corporate Patent Counsel.
