In this keynote address, Troy Dow will share the thoughts of an IP strategist from one of the world's most iconic entertainment companies about how the creative industries are navigating the evolving landscape of creativity, technology, and intellectual property.

As always, technological change presents both challenges and exciting opportunities for creative industries. Drawing on Disney's rich 100-year history of innovation and storytelling, Mr. Dow will discuss (i)
the intersection of creativity and technology in driving the art of storytelling; (ii) current policy issues affecting the future of intellectual property and creativity at both federal and state levels; (iii) emerging challenges and opportunities in the digital age, including a high-level perspective on artificial intelligence; (iv) balancing innovation with the protection of intellectual property rights; (v) noteworthy cases and their potential impact on creative industries.
